In accordance with the Law on Electronic Invoicing ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia" 44/2021, 129/2021), public sector entities will be legally obliged to use the E-Invoice System from May 1, 2022 .

From this date, the obligation of a public sector entity to receive and store electronic invoices and issue e-Invoices to another public sector entity, as well as the obligation to electronically record the calculation of value added tax, begins. At the same time, the obligation of a private sector entity to issue an electronic invoice to a public sector entity begins.

The demo version of the E-invoice System is available at demoefaktura.mfin.gov.rs , and the production version will be available for use at efaktura.mfin.gov.rs as soon as the technical and technological conditions are established.

We invite all users from the public and private sectors to take advantage of the transition period and test all the functionalities of the E-Invoice System in the demo version in order to prepare for the new electronic invoice system in time.

Detailed information is published in the Internal Technical Instructions on the portal efaktura.gov.rs .
